May 21, 2016 – 14th annual Flight to Mars benefit show at the Showbox in Seattle, WA. Night 2

Year after year, I’ve wanted to attend the annual Flight to Mars benefit show.  I finally made it happen this year and traveled to Seattle for Saturday’s show.  It was a spectacular evening!  The first half of the night was curated by the Chris Friel Orchestra and started with a diverse tribute to David Bowie and ended with Ace of Spades in memory of Lemmy Kilmister.  Flight to Mars, a UFO tribute band featuring Mike McCready (from my favorite band, Pearl Jam!), kept us rocking for the rest of the night and into the early part of Sunday!  Proceeds from the show benefited the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America’s Camp Oasis program.
