Puddles Pity Party at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, CA 1/23/2015, late show.

Puddles held a capacity crowd in his gloved palm last Friday at the Troubadour for a show that was part concert and part theater.  I’d caught the end of his set opening for the Eels last year and was taken with his baritone rendition of Lorde’s Royals.  He played that song as well as several other covers as he combined music, comedy and audience participation for a highly entertaining night.
