As anyone who knows me is well aware, I love Los Angeles and everything about it.  But, there is something very special about returning to your hometown.  Especially when it is for a happy occasion.  I grew up in Millbury, MA just adjacent to Worcester.  Since moving to CA last decade, I’ve only visited New England in times of sickness and death.  Last month, I returned to see my best friend of 25 years marry her soulmate!  It was a truly joyous occasion.  As she went off on her honeymoon, I stayed behind to house sit and was able to reconnect with family, old friends and the changed landscape of the heart of the Commonwealth.
