In celebration of World Car Free Day and Social Media week, I went on a #CarFreeLA Photo Tour adventure on Sunday 9/22/13! I spent the day with DiscoverLA (the Los Angeles Tourism and Convention Board) along with the Beverly Hills and Santa Monica Visitors Bureaus, exploring Beverly Hills and Santa Monica on foot by way of the Metro.
Many treasures can be missed when we are tucked away in out vehicles. Being outside in the beautiful Los Angeles weather with fun loving people was a great way to spend the day! As for our transportation, a metro day pass is only $5 (bus and subway) and offers stress free traveling without the hassle and cost of parking. It only took us about 25 minutes to get from Beverly Hills to Santa Monica.
