Mickey Rourke was forever immortalized at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre on October 31, 2011 as he became the 254th celebrity to have his hand and footprints set in concrete in front of the theatre. It couldn’t have happened to a more deserving man, in my opinion. From Diner to Rumble Fish to Barfly to the Wrestler and everything in between, he has long been my favorite actor.
Eric Roberts and Jon Favreau both spoke and many of Mickey’s longtime friends and colleagues were in attendance. You can see more in the video I shot. Mickey gave a heartfelt speech with an introduction by Eric Roberts.
