Electric Child are a Los Angeles based powerhouse Rock n Roll band.  I recently caught them at the Key Club where they opened up for the Sweet.  They are as real and raw as the East Hollywood ghetto rehearsal space they practice in.  No gimmicks- just straight up rock that will make you feel good.  Their EP, available on iTunes, is the kind of high energy music I like to play when I’m getting ready to go out on a Saturday night!

The band is: Craig Alexander (Vocals), Andres Villarruel (Guitar, Background Vocals), Stevie Zapp (Bass, Background Vocals), and Mike Graham (Drums, Background Vocals).  YES, you read that correctly- vocal arrangements from all four guys.  It makes for a really full sound!  Personally, I’ve always been a fan of bands that do this- King’s X, Def Leppard etc.  You can check out them out here:  http://www.electricchild.com and see them live at the Key Club on November 12, 2011 with Pretty Boy Floyd and CrashDiet.
